I thought I would take the time to firstly write a little introduction!
I live in a beautiful town surrounded with forests, fields, and mountains. Nature is an important part of me, I love exploring the rainforests and swimming in the creeks. Here I have a lovely family, boyfriend, and friends, who mean the world to me.
Travelling is my passion; I enjoy exploring new, unfamiliar places. I love learning about the culture and history. I want to see how people around the world live their lives, their spirituality, and their connection with the Earth. I want to see all of the magnificent creations by Mother Nature, and connect with her, the Earth, and myself. Not only is travelling about seeing new places, meeting new people, learning new things, it is also about discovering myself.
I have taken a particular liking to Japan. Last year I came here for the first time, where I explored Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto (and their surroundings) for a month. I felt at home here, and when I returned to Australia, I left a piece of my heart. I have always wanted to learn Japanese, and to be honest I was bored of Australia, so I decided to enroll in a language course and move to Tokyo. Unfortunately, it is only temporary, but I promise I am making the most of it!
Another thing I am crazy about is tea, especially green! Tea fascinates me.. Not only do I drink too much of it, I know a little bit more than your average Australian who drinks tea every day. Its my answer to everything; Bad day? have some tea. Feeling sick? have some tea. Writer's block? have some tea. I have never faced a problem where tea hasn't helped the situation. When I am not exploring, or its rainy out, you can find me exploring tea shops, or curled up on the lounge with a book or my laptop and some tea.
I enjoy art, both viewing and creating, particularly photography. My childhood was spent helping my family with their photography business, and I suppose this is what sparked the flair. I enjoy writing just as much. I find it gives me a clear head, and I love sharing stories with people. Fashion is another important factor of my life, and in the future you will see I am not one to stick to a particular style. My style is influenced by Japanese fashion, but you can see any shades of colour form black, red and maroon, to baby pink, white and sky blue. I like it this way, it keeps things interesting!
Well there you have it, a little bit about me! Please feel free to introduce yourself below, and stay tuned for some Tokyo travel posts very soon! Also, don't forget to follow my blog with Bloglovin!
